Double-Girder Gantry Crane for Construction Sites
Double-girder gantry crane is a type of gantry crane (gantry crane), named after its two parallel main beams and outrigger structure.

Why choose a double-beam gantry crane for construction sites?
• Strong adaptability to open-air operations
The outrigger structure can be directly installed on the ground track without the support of a factory building, which is suitable for the open-air, dusty working environment of construction sites.
• Large span and high lifting capacity
The span can reach more than 50 meters (for example, a high-speed railway bridge construction site uses a 45-meter span double-beam gantry crane to lift an 80-ton box beam), covering a large area of operation area.
• Flexible movement and positioning
The trolley can travel long distances along the track (speed 10-30m/min), and cooperate with the trolley to move horizontally to realize material transfer in multiple areas of the construction site.
• Efficient coordination with other equipment
It can cooperate with beam transporters and tower cranes: the gantry crane is responsible for component lifting, the beam transporter is responsible for horizontal transportation, and the tower crane completes high-altitude installation.
Typical application scenarios at construction sites:
1. Prefabricated component production and hoisting
In prefabricated building bases, hoisting concrete prefabricated beams, columns, wall panels, etc., the lifting weight is usually 20-50 tons, and the intelligent positioning system is used to achieve millimeter-level installation.
2. Bridge engineering construction
◦ Hoisting prefabricated box beams, T beams and other large components (such as bridges with a span of more than 30 meters), some models can cooperate with beam transporters to achieve "beam lifting - beam transportation - beam erection" integrated operations.
3. Material yard loading and unloading
◦ In open-air sites such as steel bar processing areas and concrete mixing plants, loading and unloading of steel, formwork, sand and gravel, etc., covering a range of 10-20 meters on both sides of the track.
4. Subway and tunnel engineering
◦ In the construction of open-cut tunnels or subway stations, hoisting shield machine components, pipe segments and other heavy objects, adapting to vertical transportation in deep foundation pit environments.
