Double Girder Overhead Crane in Industrial Plant for Lifting Bundles of Steel Bars
In the steel bar processing area of building material warehouses, prefabricated component factories or large construction sites, the transfer and stacking of bundled steel bars are key links in daily operations. The double-beam overhead crane designed for lifting bundled steel bars has become the core equipment for improving the efficiency of steel bar circulation with its strong load-bearing capacity and precise control.

Technical Parameters:
| Load Capacity | 10-50 tons |
| Span Range | 15-30 m |
| Crane Travel Speed | 30-60 m/min |
| Trolley Travel Speed | 20-40 m/min |
| Lifting Speed | Master hook: 3-10 m/min |
Feartures:
1. The rated lifting capacity of this double-beam bridge crane is configured according to the specifications of the steel bar bundles. The common models are 10-50 tons, which just matches the weight requirements of bundled steel bars with a diameter of 12-32mm and a length of 6-12m. The main hook adopts a wide hook group design, and with a rotatable sling, it can easily hook the lifting points at both ends of the steel bar bundle to avoid the center of gravity shift when lifting with a single hook. The bridge span covers 15-30m, which can cover the entire area of a large steel bar yard. The running speed of the large car is 30-60m/min, and the small car is 20-40m/min. It can quickly transfer bundles of steel bars from the unloading area to the processing area or stacking area. The single-shift operation volume can reach 50-100 bundles, which greatly exceeds the efficiency of manual handling.
2. In view of the long strip characteristics of bundled steel bars, the lifting mechanism of the bridge crane is specially optimized: the lifting speed of the main hook is 3-10m/min, which supports low-speed and stable lifting to avoid shaking and collision of steel bar bundles; the steel wire rope adopts an anti-rotation structure with a diameter of 16-28mm and a safety factor of ≥6 to withstand long-term wear of steel bar edges and corners. The trolley running mechanism is equipped with precision guide wheels to ensure that the hoist remains horizontal when moving horizontally to prevent the risk of steel bar bundles scattering due to tilting.
3. The equipment is equipped with a linkage console and wireless remote control dual mode. The console integrates a weight display function, which provides real-time feedback on the weight of the currently hoisted steel bar bundle to avoid overloading; the wireless remote control supports operation within a range of 30 meters, and the operator can follow the movement of the steel bar bundle to accurately control the stacking position, which is especially suitable for alignment adjustment when stacking multiple layers. The fuselage is equipped with an anti-sway device, which detects the swing angle of the hoist through a sensor and automatically adjusts the operating speed to offset the shaking, so that the steel bar bundle remains stable during lifting, moving, and landing.
4. Safety protection fully fits the steel bar lifting scene: the main hook is equipped with an anti-unhooking device to ensure that the hook does not fall off when the steel bar bundle shakes; the lifting height limiter accurately controls the hook stroke to prevent the hoist from colliding with the trolley; the buffers at both ends of the trolley can absorb the impact force during emergency parking to protect the equipment and steel bar bundles. In addition, the electrical system adopts a dust-proof design to resist the metal dust generated during steel bar processing and ensure long-term stable operation.
