Lifting of Box-type Substation: the "cabin protection philosophy" of chain hook

Box-type substations (abbreviated as "box-type substations") often weigh several tons, with painted exteriors and sophisticated internal electrical systems. During lifting, "scratch protection, tilt resistance, and insulation protection" are crucial. The design of the chain hook addresses these three core pain points:

    1. "Scratch Protection": Giving the Box Transformer a "Flexible Armor"
    Chain Protection: Each chain link is covered with a 3mm thick polyurethane rubber sleeve, creating a "soft contact" with the box transformer housing, preventing metal scratches and paint peeling.
    Hook Pad: An insulating rubber lining (70A Shore hardness) is embedded inside the hook, providing anti-slip properties, static isolation, and protection of the box transformer insulation layer.

    2. "Stable Load Bearing": Four balanced chains with a locked center of gravity
    The four-chain symmetrical design: Four chains (or two main and two auxiliary chains) are arranged at 90° angles, ensuring a horizontal lift of the box transformer with a tilt of ≤1° (far exceeding the national standard requirement of 3°).
    Anti-slip Clamp: The hook features a built-in spring lock that automatically locks when loaded. When lifting a 5-ton box transformer, the hook opening expands ≤2mm, preventing slippage.

    3. "Safety Redundancy": Double Insurance of the Load-Bearing Chain

    Rated load range: 3-16 tons (compatible with common packaged transformers: 315kVA ≈ 3 tons, 1250kVA ≈ 8 tons), with a safety factor of ≥ 4 times (breaking force = 4 × rated load);

    Non-destructible Chain Links: Made of 20Mn2 alloy steel, with 100% ultrasonic flaw detection coverage and a fatigue life of 10,000 cycles (inspection required after 1,000 lifts).

    4. "Universal Application": Workshop to Outdoor Compatibility

    Multi-device Compatibility: The hook is compatible with cranes (single-beam and double-beam) and forklift booms, allowing packaged transformers to be unloaded from trucks and positioned in the workshop with a single hook-up.

    Outdoor Protection: The chain surface is galvanized and electrophoretically coated, and has been salt spray tested for ≥ 800 hours. It will not rust even when hoisted in rainy weather, making it suitable for outdoor applications such as wind power and power distribution.
